At Root Awakenings, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines the healing potential of ketamine with guided therapeutic support. KAP is offered for adults navigating treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety related to terminal illness, bipolar depression, certain eating disorders, insomnia, and mild to moderate OCD.
In a safe, structured, and inclusive environment, KAP helps deepen emotional insight, ease symptoms, and reconnect you to your inner resilience. We welcome first responders, healthcare providers, veterans, survivors of assault, and individuals across the LGBTQIA+ community into a space where healing paths are honored and expanded.
KAP includes preparation sessions, guided ketamine experiences, and integration work to support lasting change. Therapy and medicine work together to open pathways toward growth, meaning, and reconnection. Our approach blends somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and existential frameworks to support meaningful exploration, trauma processing, and the creation of new patterns of being.
Medical screening and ketamine prescribing are coordinated with licensed medical providers.

Clinical supervision grounded in authenticity, skill-building, and reflective growth. Supervision is designed to support both interns and licensees in deepening their clinical judgment, strengthening documentation, building ethical practices, and developing their therapeutic voice.
Through collaborative dialogue, case conceptualization, and parallel process work, supervision honors the complexity of the clinical journey while helping you build confidence, competence, and clarity.
Root Awakenings provides clinical supervision for interns and licensees pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) in Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Supervision focuses on strengthening clinical judgment, ethical practice, documentation skills, case conceptualization, and therapeutic presence.
Supervisees are brought on as 1099 contractors, offering the freedom and flexibility to build a caseload that fits their academic and professional goals. Supervision is grounded in reflective growth, skill-building, and authentic professional development.
